Sarco US D-Day Airborne Paratrooper Signaling Cricket Clicker Clacker
Used in the days before and after D-Day, this device put out a distinctive clicking sound so that allied troops could communicate to “friendlies” by sound instead of with a bullet in the dark! Probably saved a lot of lives. Very few originals remain, except in museums. These work well and are made of brass with a metal flapper. U.S. embossed.
