Rope USA Dock Line
The Braided Designer Dock Line from POWERLINE USA features a 12-Inch eye splice on one end and is ready-to-use to secure your boat to the dock or another vessel. POWERLINE USA dock lines are available in various sizes, lengths and colors. Made of high strength polyester, POWERLINE USA Braided Designed Dock Lines offer greater durability compared to nylon dock lines since Polyester doesn’t lose strength when wet, stretches less than nylon and much more sunlight-resistant than nylon. Overall, Polyester dock line simply offers better weathering characteristics than nylon dock line. In addition, Polyester lines offer less stretch than nylon; so mooring in an absolute stationary position is a great use for POWERLINE USA Braided Designed Dock Lines. POWERLINE USA also utilizes a braided design instead of multi-strand twisted design, which is less brutal on the hands. Size guide: boats up to 22 feet should use a 3/8-Inch line diameter. Boats 21 to 35 feet should use a 1/2-Inch line diameter. Length guide: bow and stern lines should be 1.5 to 2.5 times beam forward and aft spring lines should be 1 to 20 times in length.
